Little League motto, added in 1960, is:

“Character, Courage, and Loyalty“. 

Origin: The motto was added to the logo in 1960. 

Purpose: The motto serves as a reminder that the program aims to develop well-rounded, good citizens. 

Quote from the pledge: “I will play fair and strive to win. But win or lose I will always do my best!”
